About the role 

The Business Development Manager will shape and sell solutions which underpin clients’ engagement with their customers, leveraging an exciting mix of innovative, digitally enabled, products and services. This role will drive a shift in revenue mix by selling higher-value consulting and digital transformation services and in so doing move up the client value chain. The Business Development manager is instrumental in helping the client pivot from a primarily transactional BPO service provider to a transformational partner for their clients.  

Priorities

  • Drive revenue and margin growth from new sales
  • Directly manage the customer relationship and growth opportunities with clients 
  • Create market opportunities, through insight-led selling and consultative engagements with prospect organisations
  • Develop, maintain, and execute winning sales plans that translate into tangible sales activities
  • Bring the best of the clients CVPs and capabilities to deliver for their clients
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline and maintain forecast accuracy
  • Create a diverse opportunity pipeline that include digital, consulting and transformation
  • Act as the clients ambassador in the external market

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an integrated growth strategy for a vertical market which is focused on driving revenue and new customer growth
  • Achieve agreed sales (revenue) targets including IYR, TCV and qualified pipeline growth
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for qualified specific opportunities on the pipeline. This includes engaging with prospects to bring opportunities to market, creating a compelling and competitive proposal and closing the deal in collaboration with commercial colleagues
  • Originating new logo growth via the development of strategic relationships for key opportunities
  • Ensuring business opportunities are maximised and the target market is aware of their service proposition
  • Ensuring the clients brand name is prominent by attendance at seminars and Industry Events as well as maintaining positive relationships with relevant third parties
  • Identify client/market needs and trends and where necessary suggest product change or improvement
  • Working with the senior leadership team to ensure product pricing is correct
  • Act as an ambassador and advocate for the clients brand and as a role model and advocate for the growth culture of the Division and Pillar

Environment

  • Hybrid working split between home and office and client site(s)
  • Extensive in country travel may be required
  • Should be based in Ireland
