Role

Our client is looking to hire a proven ‘Consulting Director’ to join their leadership team and set the strategic agenda for their successful and growing consulting business.

As Consulting Director you will lead a team of highly skilled and experienced consultants who provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients in the areas of digital strategy, governance, operations and technology. You will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the Consulting Practice, leading and managing a team of consultants, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the growth ambitions of the company delivering innovative solutions and critical project services to our clients.

Responsibilities

As head of the Consulting Division you will be responsible for 

• Determining and managing the strategic direction of the division
• Controlling, managing and reporting on P&L account for the Consulting division 
• Growing the division in line with budget plans
• Championing our Consulting practices, solutions, and capability both internally and externally
• Presales and Business Development 
• Driving opportunity pipeline and consulting sales targets with Consulting Practice Leads 
• Working with our sales & marketing teams to develop new opportunities and build customer relationships within existing and new customer accounts.
• Working with Marketing to promote consulting brand and develop campaign strategies. 
• Consulting team development and new talent acquisition
• Working closely with other divisions to future proof the business – stay ahead of curve leading with consultancy. 

Experience 

• 10+ years in a Senior Leadership role in a consulting organisation 
• Experience leading and managing large, complex consulting engagements
• Proven ability to develop and execute business strategy
• Strong analytical skills and experience developing quantitative models
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
• MBA or other advanced degree
