Chief Financial Officer

Description

Due to continued growth our client now has a unique opportunity to join a dynamic business, in post start-up phase with established market presence in a leadership role.

They are looking for an experienced sales leader who can initially act as a player / manager – leading by example focusing on direct and indirect business development, product development & marketing, branding, and strategic direction.  Collaborating closely with the other members of the executive team, and extended sales team you will deliver on existing strategy, expand customer base, recruit & develop strategic partners, all the while contributing to ongoing product development strategy.

Role:

  • Global Responsibility for all Revenue Development.
  • Ownership of all sales & marketing strategy and delivery.
  • Key input on product strategy and market positioning.
  • Build-on and develop where necessary, strategies in each of the key areas to scale the business to the next level of its development.
  • Lead and motivate a dynamic commercial team.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of executive leadership team, board and investors to devise & implement commercial strategy, defining agreed key metrics.
  • Grow and develop dynamic teams in sales, product and marketing.
  • Oversee revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth
  • Assess opportunities in the market, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics
  • Maintain strong commercial relationships with customers to ensure alignment with market needs and product development efforts
  • Engage with internal colleagues in finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies
  • Develop and grow relationships with key clients and relevant partner organisations globally.

Profile:

  • Demonstrable record of achievement in an equivalent commercial leadership role – scaling SaaS business.
  • Strong sales leadership and organisational ability
  • Previous successful track record in general management, p&l, product and marketing strategy development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and empathy, ability to understand team dynamics.
  • Keen analysis skills and ability to take decisive action.
  • Experienced in building and managing partnership business
